Rather, Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL), Southwest's main hub in the area, serves the Dallas area. Love Field is the ideal destination for Southwest travelers from the Dallas area because of its handy location, welcoming amenities, and smooth operations. Although Southwest only uses Love Field, the larger of the two airports, DFW, serves as a significant hub for other airlines, including American Airlines.
